Lemon Water

There were a lot of requests for the recipe for the drink at Super Saturday. A tip for finding the citric acid called for is to look for it at the Hobby Center, Michael's, Joann's, or someplace that sells specialty food items. (Call first). It is not very expensive, and one bottle will last you awhile!

Lemon Water
1 Quart water 1 Tbsp. Lemon extract
3 c. sugar 1/2 bag of ice
1 Tbsp. citric acid 1 Gallon water

Heat together the quart of water and the sugar until the sugar dissolves. Cool. Add the citric acid and the extract and chill. Before serving, add the ice and the gallon of water. If serving in a glass container, it looks pretty to add a few thinly sliced lemons.
